Less chasing. More follow-through.

Genesis Tasks

The Sunday checklist. The everyday to-do. The person to call.

Bring your assigned to-dos, event work, and care follow-ups together — so good intentions become things your team actually gets done.

A list that feels familiar

Clean rows, circular checkboxes, and finished tasks in their own view. See the context without opening every item.

Know what needs you today

Overdue, due today, this week, and upcoming counts bring order to a busy day. Today shows only overdue and due-today work.

Give every next step an owner

Assign a task to a team member. Give subtasks their own assignees and dates, so the small steps have someone responsible too.

Your everyday work, with a rhythm.

From updating the bulletin to preparing a staff meeting, to-dos give the ordinary work of ministry a home.

  • Create and edit church-wide to-do categories in Task Settings
  • Set priorities, notes, due dates, and individually assigned subtasks
  • Repeat to-dos daily, weekly, every two weeks, monthly, or yearly
  • Click a due date for Today, Tomorrow, This weekend, Next week, or a calendar date
  • Completing a recurring to-do creates its next occurrence

One place for the details.

Start small. Break it down.

Open a task for its notes, priority, and subtasks. Each subtask can have a different due date and owner.

Find what you’re looking for.

Filter by To-Do, Events, or Care. Search your list, sort by due date, priority, or name, and look back through Finished or Archived.

Keep reminders on your terms.

Task Settings brings task email preferences and to-do categories together, away from your daily list.

An event plan everyone can follow.

Inside each event, choose a lead, organize tasks into sections, and see completion progress. Start from a reusable template instead of rebuilding the checklist every time.

  • Assign tasks, set deadlines, and filter by owner or status
  • Bulk assign or complete tasks and shift due dates when plans change
  • Save a checklist as a template and carry forward prior-event lessons
  • Keep the run sheet, budget, vendors, and debrief in the event’s Plan tab
  • Assigned event tasks appear alongside your personal to-dos

Care is more than another checkbox.

A call, a visit, a thoughtful follow-up: assigned care tasks join your list while staying connected to the person and their Care history. Your team can complete the follow-up and record a care note without losing the story.

Explore Care

The right people. The right access.

The Tasks page does not unlock private care information. Care access, assigned-only access, and pastoral-note permissions still apply. Confidential details remain restricted to authorized people.

Repeating to-dos are separate from event templates and Care follow-up schedules.
